EzBiome started its operation in 2020 with a state-of-the-art GLP accredited and cGMP compliant laboratory in Gaithersburg, Maryland, USA to offer world-class sample to discovery services on microbial identification, microbiome research, bioinformatics, and database expertise for businesses worldwide.

EzBioCloud is a public data and analytics portal focusing on taxonomy, ecology, genomics, metagenomics, and microbiome. Our new cloud service includes bioinformatics tools and succeeds in our previous databases, which include EzTaxon, EzTaxon-e, and EzGenome. The EzBioCloud network has been used in over 150 different countries by more than 55,000 registered users, ranging from academia, non-profit, government, pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical communities, and global microbiome companies.

Our management team is experienced in building technology companies, commercializing new technologies, and developing partnerships. We aim to empower innovation and shorten the time for the discovery and development of microbiota based biomarkers for companion diagnostics, novel therapeutics for microbiome-related diseases, and enable near-perfect microbial identification using precision taxonomy and advanced genomic intelligence.
